Movement with meaning: strength, stillness, and self-connection
What is Yoga 1:1 with Me?
This isn’t one-size-fits-all yoga. With over 15 years of experience in Forrest, Yin, Vinyasa, and Power Yoga, my approach to one-to-one yoga is deeply intuitive, trauma-informed, and tailored entirely to you — your body, your energy, your needs.
I combine grounding breathwork, intelligent sequencing, and functional strength (including resistance bands and weight training) to help you build a resilient, connected body — without pushing or rushing. This is movement with awareness. With purpose. With care.
It’s especially supportive if you’re navigating injury recovery, chronic tension, burnout, or just need a safe space to reconnect with your body again.
What to Expect
Each private yoga session is a blend of mindful movement, stillness, breath, and strength. We might draw from:
- Forrest Yoga for core connection and emotional processing
- Yin Yoga for deep tissue release and nervous system balance
- Katy Bowman’s functional movement principles to improve alignment and strength
- Weight and band work to build joint stability and long-term resilience
We’ll move at your pace. Whether you need grounding, rebalancing, or gentle strength-building, this is your time to be seen, supported, and strengthened — inside and out.
Yoga 1:1 sessions are available at Studio 6.02 at St Margaret’s House in Edinburgh.
